As the seasons change, our health can take a hit! The changing seasons bring a shift in our bodily rhythms. As we move from warmth to cold, our immune systems can become vulnerable. Join us and explore plant medicine that's been used for centuries to promote health, cleansing and resilience.

In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn to make potent herbal remedies, from soothing syrups to decoctions, to fire cider - a spicy immune boosting vinegar that has its roots in traditional folk medicine, particularly in European and Appalachian herbalism, believed to date back to the 17th or 18th century.

We will explore common kitchen herbs, mushrooms and plants of the Northeast that can keep us healthy all winter long. We will discover herbal medicine to ward off colds, viruses, promote healthy fever response, soothe a sore throat, & help stop a lingering cough, while we sip hot herbal tea.
