NewVida provides all the comforts and privacy of a home with all the services of a boutique hotel, including a grand restaurant, craft bar, live music & billiards. Our wellness center offers yoga, massage, reiki, Ayurveda, a modern gym and remote working spaces.
Explore the two-time Olympic region renowned for snow sports, hiking, fly-fishing, and mountain biking. With Whiteface just a 8 minute drive away and Lake Placid a short 25 minute ride, you'll have endless opportunities to discover the beauty of this timeless region.
Our Suites
We have a collection of single-room and two-room private suites that can accommodate up to 32 guests in the main lodge. Each room is complete with Adirondack-style cedar or modern mountain furnishings, stunning wood and vibrant tile work reminiscent of a vintage ski resort, smart AC/ heating units, modern privacy blinds & sound machines, high quality linens, duvets, throws & towels and rain showers.
In addition, there is a shared and always-accessible "guest coffee nook" with 2 small refrigerators, an espresso & coffee machine, tea kettle and an assortment of pods, teas, sugars and honey for your enjoyment.
Mountaintop Mansion
Part of our affiliate lodging program, guests reserve the Mountaintop Mansion exclusively but have full access to the amenities at the mountain base, including a lodge, restaurant, craft bar with live music, billiards lounge, bistro, gym, wellness center with yoga + massage, AND 35+ miles of well-established trails for hiking, biking, climbing and private alpine touring. The house is up a private beautiful winding 3/4 of a mile drive up the mountain from the base lodge. It consist of 12,000 sq. feet across 4 floors, all accessible via en elevator. There are 2 kitchens, 3 living rooms, 2 dining rooms, 2 decks, 4 full baths, 3 half baths, 8 bedrooms, all with queen or king beds, high quality mattresses & linens and a sofa bed, accommodating 16+ guests.

We have cultivated a talented community of experience providers that includes experts, gurus, guides, artists and instructors of every kind. We strongly recommend that you reserve 2-3 experiences per guest prior to your arrival to ensure you secure a spot and get the most out of your stay with us.

Our Grounds
As the largest experiential resort, we have 2000 acres right outside of your suite to explore year-round as well as direct access to a 400-acre mountain-biking park and the 6.5 million acre Adirondack Park System. Due to the generational preservation efforts on this land, you’ll get to experience vibrant plant and wild life. When you check-in, we’ll provide you with access to the trail map and can help you plan any day excursions or hire a guide and ensure you have the appropriate equipment and supplies to have an enjoyable experience.
Our Location
We are the closest full service resort to Whiteface (8 min) and conveniently located in Wilmington and Jay between, Keene (10 min), Lake Placid (25 min), and Plattsburgh (35 min) allowing you to explore neighboring town centers accessibly while providing a lodging experience that is unique and provides greater privacy.
It truly is a 4-season escape: In the winter, go alpine touring right on the property and enjoy Olympic grade skiing at Whiteface, only 7 minutes away. In the Spring, explore fly-fishing at the world-class Ausable River that runs near the property or venture out for white-water rafting. In the summer and fall, hike and mountain bike on the Preserve or in the vast Adirondack Park System, exploring waterfalls, rivers, lakes and wading pools, OR explore the farmers markets, theaters, and festivals in neighboring towns.
